I undertook this work as a course project for the course – Instrumentation System Design during the sixth semester of my undergraduate studies. We (a team of two) implemented an Electromyography (EMG) Data Acquisition system that could acquire EMG signals through non-invasive surface electrodes and process it such that the output could directly be fed to the analog – digital converter (ADC) module of any general purpose micro-controller.
Though, few such systems already existed in the market and you can call this reinventing the wheel, but when one is young, the learning is worth the effort.
